There are so many things we love about our Affiliate community. One that stands out is that it brings people from all walks of life and lines of work together for the common cause of helping people find transformative levels of health. A perfect example of this is the story of PrimeMyBody Affiliate Michael Herron.
You could say Mike doesn’t have your typical 9 to 5 job. Based in Los Angeles as an Audio Video Engineer, Mike is an integral figure in the film making process. A regular week for him consists of 70-plus hours working and collaborating on set, in locations across the globe, with directors, producers, and actors like Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Denzel Washington, and Kevin Hart. Just a few of the recent blockbusters he’s helped put together include: Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Show Dogs, Magnificent 7, and Fences.
“I’m kind of like the central nervous system of film making. Everything has to go through me. I’m an on-set reference library of everything shot from day one to last shot. If Dwayne Johnson wants to see a certain take he comes to me. With hundreds of millions of dollars at stake and working with high caliber actors I have to bring my A-game everyday,” Mike says.
For all the excitement, exotic locations, and acclaim his job provides, it lacks a crucial element in his life. An element he uses as his WHY while building his PrimeMyBody business.
“I have this amazing film job, but I work so many hours on set. During the filming of Jumanji I missed my son’s entire soccer season and that just killed me. You just can’t get that time back and I need to be there. I’m building my business to take back my life. If I can supplement enough from PrimeMyBody so I can than choose my film jobs that means the world to me.”
Like many PrimeMyBody Affiliates, Mike got excited about the business opportunity after first witnessing how well our hemp oil worked for him and also what it does for the people that mean the most to him. One of those people is his 75 year-old mother who he sends hemp oil to every month. Seeing her golden years interrupted by constant discomfort and tension, Mike is thrilled the hemp oil has been able to provide her with peace and comfort.
“I thought it may work for what my Mom had been dealing with, but I wasn’t certain. I’ll never forget a couple weeks after taking it she said to me “I don’t know what this is Michael, but make sure I do not run out.” Hearing that was music to my ears. The oil has changed her life and that fills me with so much love.
Mike’s not new to affiliate marketing either. For years he’s worked with friends—including Affiliate Brian Pugh who introduced him to PMB—in other companies trying to earn supplemental income. Not for a lack of effort, but for fundamental business reasons he always found it difficult to find long-term financial success at other affiliate marketing companies.
“I’ve been in so many companies where you didn’t have the leadership and resources you could be proud of. All of that is here for us at PrimeMyBody. No one has to say “now what?” after joining. It’s all there for you. The resources and trainings are second to none.”
As Mike builds his business and shares our products he makes a point not to re-invent the wheel. He utilizes the networks and people that are close to him, sharing with them his honest experience using our hemp oil.
“I work with 150 crewmembers for each movie. We’re independent employees, so every time I’m on a new project I have 150 new people I work with. I keep a bottle right on my workstation cart. Because hemp and CBD are everywhere, people can’t help but approach me about it. Because of those connections my business has exploded.”
With personal belief in the health power the hemp oil provides, Mike has no need to sell people on it. He relates sharing PrimeMyBody products to the movie industry. “Most of the time, just like a hit movie, when you love it you suggest and rave about it. That’s how this oil works.”
Grateful for everything his film career has provided him, Mike is happy putting in the additional hours to be there for his PrimeMyBody team too. Because in the end it’s allowing him to be there for his family.
