It takes great spirit to uplift a community out of hard times. As hurricane Florence thins across the Atlantic Coast, we give praise and tribute to PrimeMyBody Affiliate and Charleston, S.C. resident Krista Cino who is working hand-in-hand with her community to see to it that those affected in the Carolinas find peace and solace.
“I feel like the community of Charleston is like PrimeMyBody. There is great sense of caring for one another. We’re thankful the hurricane didn’t hit us directly. Many of us are taking donations and opening our homes and hearts to people in need.”
For 20 years and counting Krista has been in the business of helping people. As physical injuries can also take a toll on someone’s mental and emotional health, on a weekly basis she applies her expertise in physical therapy to help restore not only clients’ bodies but also their psyche.
“I guess you could say I’ve always had that passion to make a difference in people’s lives.”
A former collegiate and professional soccer player, Krista has embraced life off the field with the same passion she played on it. The quintessential teammate, her coaches remember her most for the sacrifices she put in helping her teams and teammates play up to their potential.
“I’m happy when I see people excel and smiling. I think I respond a lot to how others are feeling. I really just love seeing other people succeed.”
It’s those instinctive traits that make her the leader she’s become at PrimeMyBody. A beach girl through and through, Krista was born and raised near the Jersey Shore before moving with her family to Charleston two years ago. Prior to finding our hemp oil Krista had brain surgery, leaving her with symptoms she really wasn’t comfortable adjusting to.
“At the time I was having some mental confusion and brain fog. Those symptoms made me worry about my future with my previous history.”
With no familiarity of hemp oil or CBD, during the summer of 2017 Krista came across a Facebook post from an acquaintance promoting PrimeMyBody’s hemp oil and the business opportunity.
“It’s funny, I was looking for a product for my own health at the time. I really didn’t know that person at the time—who has now become one of my best friends.”
After a few conversations and her own diligent research on hemp oil Krista jumped in and has made a splash in our Affiliate community from the start. With the foresight of what PMB’s business opportunity could create for her life, Krista—a fairly shy person by her own admission—made the choice to thrust herself into territory she wasn’t very comfortable.
“This business has enabled me to come out of my comfort zone. It’s a whole other line of personal development for me and I couldn’t have done it without the support of the PrimeMyBody leaders believing in me.”
Krista is very aware that in order for a team to have success each person has to be able to rely on one another.
“I feel in such alignment now. What I love about this company is it feels like community. It’s not a competitive culture at all. I truly believe everyone looks out for everyone else as a connected family,” says Krista—who now, because of her business success, has the freedom to travel with her husband to their children’s sports games and tournaments.
Working more as an Affiliate these days than as a physical therapist Krista says she loves waking up everyday with the opportunity to make a positive impact on someone’s life.
“I truly have changed more people’s lives this past year in PrimeMyBody than I have in almost 20 years of being a physical therapist. Our hemp oil is changing lives on a whole other level. That’s what drives me. I cry tears of joy with people when they tell me how great they’re doing after taking our hemp oil.”
