You could say Alinka Zellner has quite the farm to stable and then an some story. Not long before being introduced to PrimeMyBody, Alinka was literally living in a tent on the flower farm where she worked in rural Colorado. She remembers struggling on windy nights, doing all she could to keep the tent from crashing over. Making a modest living, Alinka didn’t really know what other choice she had at the time.
“It was one of the most stressful situations ever,” she says. “It was a hard life. I convinced myself that I wanted that life because there was something romantic about it. Looking back, I see how I was limiting myself because I didn’t have money and didn’t think that anything else was really possible.”
Not long after moving back into her parent’s house she found herself slumped over the computer sending a plea of desperation out via Facebook. Lost and struggling, she shared her story with honesty, searching for any sort of a lead toward a solution to her professional and financial shortcomings.
“I was completely heartbroken. Honestly, I couldn’t get out of bed a lot of days.”
And then her soon-to-be PrimeMyBody sponsor Joanne, who Alinka used to nanny for, reached out with the simple reply, ‘call me’. That call was the first step toward a complete renewal of Alinka’s life. That evening the energy of optimism coursed through Alinka’s veins. She hadn’t a clue how to build an affiliate marketing business, but was instantly dedicated to doing everything in her power to make it a reality.
“I’m very coachable I realize now. I did everything Joan asked of me from the start. I was on calls with her every day. Even on that first call, she asked me to go to a meeting in Boulder that was starting in 30 minutes. My immediate response was, ‘sure’.” I called people daily. I jumped onto training calls. I did whatever it took to get to events. I really resonated with the women and men of PrimeMyBody, like Erin (Pollinger) Renee (Jeffus) and Austin. Liz Love too, she took me under her wing,” says Alinka—who put every last penny she had into ordering her first hemp oil pack.
Using the hemp oil daily, Alinka found a sustained calm, allowing her confidence to build as she navigated the waters of doing all the little things necessary of building a successful affiliate marketing business. One by one she’s added dozens of Affiliates to her team.
After two years of building, Alinka has grown from a receptive student to a teacher and mentor for new Affiliates. She has been able to travel the country, buy a new car, and yes—she has even bought her own house.
