Meet Carole Lyon
Emerald Affiliate and $10,000 winner of our $200,000 Summer of Momentum Giveaway, Carole Lyon sets a perfect example of how to organize, operate, and grow a PrimeMyBody Affiliate business. Formerly a native of sunny southern California, Carole, her husband and three kids now call Chicagoland home.
Starting as an Affiliate during PrimeMyBody’s pre-launch days, it’s taken dedicated persistence to grow and expand her business. A maturation process that came with its own unique hurdles, Carole now has a clear vision of how she plans to compound upon the business success she’s generated these last few years.
Carole spoke with us recently about what PrimeMyBody’s business opportunity and wellness products have provided her and why the PMB community has been a blessing in her life.
First, how were you introduced to PrimeMyBody?
I was working with another network marketing company when a good friend of mine introduced me to our original hemp oil. At the time I had been battling joint discomfort and emotional distress. Nearly three weeks to the day after starting on a regimen of PMB’s hemp oil I felt like Rip Van Winkle, like I had just woken up from a very long nap. It so profoundly shifted my life into such a positive gear that I decided then and there I was going to share it with everybody. When I found out PrimeMyBody was basically brand new, in a pre-launch phase, I was like sign me up both hands, both feet. I am in.
Currently, what is your favorite PMB product and why?
I have to say RECEPT because it has freed me from discomfort and suffering in so many areas. And it has freed me to expand and thrive in ways I never thought imaginable.
You’re gaining a tremendous amount of success as a PMB Affiliate. What do you credit the recent elevation of your business to?
I would say networking outside of my regular contact list. What I’ve done most is expanded myself on social media, friending others I have not connected to before. And mostly connecting to mom groups and women in business groups. Through those connections I have sunk myself into building relationships with these women and from those relationships an organic interest has grown. As soon as they hear my story and get connected to me and know I’m connecting with them on a personal level, not even related to the business directly, they want to try RECEPT. I’ve been able to gain a lot more referrals that way and my business is building more because I allowed myself to extend beyond my regular friends and family.
What excites you most about running your own successful affiliate marketing business?
The fact that I am in complete control of where I spend my time, who I partner with, and how I approach my business. For me it provides total freedom—and my plan, my vision is that it will provide legacy freedom for my family in the years to come.
What are your thoughts about having a rooted business position in the growing hemp industry?
I like to use a little analogy. Coming from San Diego I would surf every 4th of July. Surfing was pretty difficult for me to learn. I always found it was hard for me to catch the wave right at the peak, called the green room. For whatever reason I would always end up in the white wash. I’d still have momentum from the wave and it would push me forward, but I’d be bummed I missed the big wave.
With PrimeMyBody I feel like I am right at the crest of the wave, right in the sweet spot at the perfect time where hemp wellness is going in this country. And it is all right there for all of us. All we have to do is stay with it and be out there every day talking to people and sharing our stories.
What are some of the key takeaways from the PrimeMyBody Momentum 2019 National Conference you’ve taken home with you?
I think what I learned from so many of the speakers is that it doesn’t matter where you come from to find success here. A lot of people came from very humble, even broken beings. By simply allowing themselves to believe and step into educating others about this opportunity, about this company, and about this plant, we can create anything that our hearts desire, especially with the timing of this industry.
