Jonas Crafts knows a thing or two about teamwork. Growing up in a football family, he was always on a team sport starting at a young age. We’re almost certain the film Friday Night Lights was based on his life. As a former tight end, Jonas played with the Philadelphia Eagles after attending the University of Texas El Paso.
Although his professional football career—in a sport where less than 2 percent of college football players go pro—was cut short by injuries, Jonas Diamond Crafts takes pride knowing he’ll always be a part of the NFL brotherhood. He understands the bonds that are necessary to support a winning culture and knows he’s on the right team as a PrimeMyBody affiliate.
Recently, Crafts spoke with us about joining PrimeMyBody, his experience using our Nano-Enhanced Hemp Oil, and what he took home with him following the Design Your Life 2018 National Event in Denver.
After the NFL, where did your professional compass guide you?
I fell in love with the human body. I now own two medical clinics in San Antonio where we concentrate on functional medicine with a focus on hormones, weight-loss, and general nutrition.
How were you introduced to PrimeMyBody’s Nano-Enhanced Hemp Oil?
I was introduced to the oil by a woman who I knew through my businesses. She said, “Jonas, what do you know about the ECS (Endocannabinoid System)?” I said I had no clue. As I looked it up and realized PrimeMyBody has this hemp oil I said to myself, “hemp oil and affiliate marketing, that’s the most ingenious idea I’ve ever heard.”
Tell us about your personal experience using PrimeMyBody’s Nano-Enhanced Hemp Oil.
This is a fun story. I had three knee surgeries that took me out of the NFL. Those injuries really got me involved in healing. When I got the hemp oil I said, “great, but let’s see how it goes.” Because of my knees, when I work out, I always warm up on the bike for 10 minutes. I always hear a crank or pop and around minute 7 or 8 it subsides mostly. When I started taking the hemp oil it caught me off guard, because my knee stopped cranking or popping after about two minutes. Now I don’t feel any sort of popping in my knee at all.
More important though is what it did for me mentally. What I have noticed now is my happiness. I don’t know if I would identify myself as shy or scared but….coming out of the NFL I didn’t want to be in the limelight. I didn’t even want my photo on the staff page of my business website. Since taking the hemp oil I am happier. First and foremost it helped my limbs and now it’s helped me find the beauty of life.
As a veteran PrimeMyBody Affiliate, how would you describe the company culture?
It’s creating this synergistic effect where the culture is literally set by Paul, our CEO, and leaders like JT and Austin. I tout them on every call I am on because to me leadership is key. This is a team. You have to have leadership. Who is in the front office looking at character and not just numbers? I think that’s what we’ve got, a company built on good character.
What practices do you use when sharing PrimeMyBody products?
Ignorance on fire. You don’t have to be a professional and know everything about hemp oil. I tell PrimeMyBody for education, but know you’re not a doctor and you don’t have to be a doctor. Bring your excitement. Identify what excites you and just be pro-excitement.
As a ranking affiliate, what have you brought home from the Design Your Life 2018 Event to share with your team?
You know, I think I brought back a whole new belief of what we’re doing on a global scale. With the fact of the token sale, with Kaz Takara (PMB GM, Japan) being there and hearing what’s happening in Japan and soon Canada and Mexico. It really makes having a global business right from our cell phones tangible.
Explain the atmosphere of the Design Your Life 2018 event?
In one word, unreal. Coming from a guy who used to play in front of 80,000 fans this had all the energy and then some. Just the family atmosphere. The community atmosphere. The culture of who we are as a company. I’ve never hugged so many people in my life. I literally had people come to me at the event and say they’ve never seen this much energy in one place. Never seen this much real love for one another and a collective goal. We’re trying to be a global company and this is how you do it, by creating one massive team.
