So you’ve gotten in line for the $PMB Token Private Sale. What’s Next?
Once you’ve secured your place in the $PMB Token Private Sale line there are a few more steps that are required to acquire $PMB Tokens during the private sale. To ensure your acquisition experience goes as smoothly as possible we suggest following the below steps.
Some of the account setup steps can take few days, so it’s best to give yourself enough time in order to be ready by the start date of the $PMB Token Private Sale.
Step 1: Purchase Ether (ETH)
In order to purchase $PMB Tokens during the private token sale, PrimeMyBody Affiliates must use the cryptocurrency coin Ether (ETH). To purchase Ether we recommend using Coinbase. Coinbase is an established and reputable U.S.-based cryptocurrency exchange.
If you’d like, there are other exchanges and payment sites where you can purchase Ether. Other Ether purchase options include Circle Pay and Gemini. Another option is using the Cash App (available on Android and iPhone). Cash App is a mobile payment service that supports the purchasing of Bitcoin. If you do purchase Bitcoin on the Cash App or another exchange you will have to transfer your Bitcoin onto a cryptocurrency exchange like Binance or Bittrex to exchange for ETH—which can then be used during the $PMB Token Private Sale.
The $PMB Token Private Sale will ONLY accept Ether—no Bitcoin, cash, or other payment methods will be accepted. To find more cryptocurrency exchanges that sell Ether visit ethereumprice.org.
Please be mindful that some exchanges can take 3-7 business days to setup and authorize your account.
Step 2: Create a Decentralized Wallet
You’ve purchased Ether and are officially a cryptocurrency holder. Give yourself a round of applause.
The next step is to create a decentralized wallet. A decentralized wallet is a program or software that can only be accessed with private keys (provided during setup). A decentralized wallet ensures you with complete control over your cryptocurrency.
For the $PMB Token Private Sale, it is required that Ether being used to acquire $PMB Tokens comes from a decentralized wallet with a public address. Please remember: You CANNOT transfer Ether from an exchange like Coinbase or Gemini to participate in the private sale. During the private token sale Ether must be sent to PrimeMyBody’s $PMB Token address from a decentralized wallet.
To create a wallet to store your Ether (and also your $PMB Tokens after the private sale) we suggest visiting the decentralized wallet site MyCrypto.com.
For higher security, on MyCrypto.com, we suggest creating a MetaMask wallet. From Mycrypto.com follow these steps to create a decentralized wallet.
- Select “Create Wallet”
- Download and install the MetaMask extension for Chrome browser. MetaMask is a browser plugin designed to store, send, and receive Ether and ERC-20 Tokens (like the $PMB Token).
- After installing, click on the MetaMask icon on the Chrome browser. You’ll notice it’s the cute fox icon on the top right portion of the browser. Once you open the MetaMask UI scroll all the way down and click Accept to agree to MetaMask’s terms of use.
- Follow the MetaMask wallet setup steps as instructed. Make sure to safeguard your 12-word restore key. The restore key is the only way to access your account if you happen to lose or forget your password.
- Once you are logged in, you can than use the account wallet created or create a new account.
If you’d like, you may choose to create a wallet using the MyCrypto Desktop App, also found on the “Create New Wallet” page at MyCrypto.com.
All cryptocurrency wallets are built for security, but some are more secure than others. It is imperative never to share your private key data with someone you do not trust. It’s also best to store your private key data offline to avoid an online breach.
To further ensure the security of your coins and tokens you may want to consider purchasing a hardware wallet such as a Ledger Nano or Trezor. With one of these wallets you’re able to keep your crypto even safer with a tamper-proof and virtually hack-proof piece of hardware. You can easily send your Ether coins to either of these hardware wallets from an exchange, the MyCrypto Desktop wallet or MetaMask wallet. *Using a hardware wallet is only a suggestion. It is not required to purchase and use a hardware wallet for the $PMB Token Private Sale.
The MyCrypto Desktop App, MetaMask, and hardware wallets are strictly suggestions. You may choose to use any decentralized you would like to participate in the $PMB Token Private Sale as long as it has its own public address and supports ERC20 tokens.
Please note:
1) MetaMask and MyCrypto.com are not endorsed by PrimeMyBody or the $PMB Token. There are many other ERC20 wallets out there which you may prefer to use — please make sure you do your own due diligence and research.
2) If you try to participate in the $PMB Token Private Sale by sending funds from an exchange (like Coinbase) or centralized wallet you will NOT receive your tokens.
3) PrimeMyBody will never contact you via social media, Telegram, or email asking for your private keys, passwords, or restore keys.
Step 3: Transfer Ether to Wallet
Once your wallet is set up, you will transfer the Ether you purchased from a cryptocurrency exchange to your newly created wallet for safe keeping until the $PMB Token Private Sale begins.
To do this, log into the exchange where you purchased Ether and select send ETH. You will then input the public address of your newly created wallet into the send field. Select the amount of Ether you’d like to send and confirm the transaction. Your Ether should be noticeable in your wallet within minutes. Note: transfer time of coins and tokens from an exchange to a wallet do vary.
*We advise testing the send procedure with a small amount of Ether and then following up with the remainder of your Ether once you are comfortable with the transfer process.
